Spray?Coated Lead?Free Cs <sub>2</sub> AgBiBr <sub>6</sub> Double Perovskite Solar Cells with High Open?Circuit Voltage

Lead-free Cs2AgBiBr6 double perovskite is considered a promising alternative photovoltaic absorber to the widely used lead halide due its easy processability, high stability, and reduced toxicity. Herein, for first time spray processing deposition of thin films reported. Microstructural (X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy) optoelectronic (absorbance, photoluminescence, photocurrent density versus applied voltage curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) properties spray-coated film are compared with spin-coated benchmark. Incorporation in solar cells leads 2.3% photoconversion efficiency open-circuit 1.09 V. This study highlights suitability ultrasonic optimization terms light absorption charge transfer at Cs2AgBiBr6/hole transporting layer interface.
